Our team has decades of experience designing, developing, and delivering culture-shaping leadership development experiences with a wide range of organizations. We’ve struggled with the same questions you have and successfully built leaders, teams, and organizations. Your Guide
Dr. Mark A. Conklin, or simply Mark to those who know him, is the chief architect and visionary of the Every Leader’s Journey experience. Always a student first and teacher second, he is a highly sought-after speaker and consultant who has helped guide thousands of leaders globally. Partnering with others, he has learned to leverage technology to effectively scale leadership development architecture in large enterprise systems.
His own leadership journey through active-duty military service, years as an academician, and time as a university dean created a hunger for understanding and building effective leaders. However, it was during his twenty-two years at Chick-fil-A Inc., where tasked with “make sure we don’t run out of leaders”, he and like-minded leaders found answers. His journey inspired him to create Every Leader’s Journey to help others find answers, too.

The Experience
Every Leader’s Journey relies heavily on content created by Mark and others over his years at Chick-fil-A Inc. and is further shaped by a dedicated team of thought leaders, advisors, and professionals on the ELJ team. We understand it is imperative that leaders grow because everything rises and falls on leadership. Therefore, we believe organizations are simply lengthened shadows of their leaders and the depth of their leadership bench.
